Meet at the Cellardoor winery - park across the street at the trailhead... Mish won't be there this week (in Portland), but the trail heads up the hill (start at the wooden bridge) through the woods.

MAINE TRIBE SUNDAY FUN-DAY

SUNDAY FUN-DAY! Woot!

Today's theme is the POWER OF WATER.

There is a reason why real estate near the water is more expensive! The Oceans, Lakes, Rivers and Streams of our world have a measurable impact on our well-being...on our physiological state, AND on our minds.

And who doesn't love a good walk on the beach?

This week we head to Lucia Beach, in Owl's Head. Also known as Birch Point State Park. There is so much to do and see. Walk around the point on the trail, collect sea glass...take pictures, follow your bliss :)!

We will spend an hour (or more) at the beach. Car pooling is an option - ping Mish for arrangements :).

This week we head to Laite Beach, in Camden. This is such a little gem of a beach, right in town...There is so much to do and see. Look out at the harbor, watch the sea traffic, collect sea glass...take pictures, follow your bliss :)!

We will spend an hour (more or less) at the beach.

COOL IDEA: Bring a journal and sit on the grass to draw or write a few things down...

LOCAL TRIBE (Midcoast) SUNDAY FUN-DAY

SUNDAY FUN-DAY! Yeehar!

Join us this week and FEEL THE POWER OF THE WATER!

Yes, you guessed it, we are going to gravitate to the Big Blue. No, we're not going IN, or ON this time... but we will get our BlueMinds on and go NEAR it.

Strap on your trail or running shoes and join us at Beauchamp Point in Rockport for a walk, ramble, or run. The group may split if there are enough people who want to do one thing or another, or we may stick together... it depends on how many people come and what folks wanna do.

Park at the beach, half way along the dirt road/ forested portion of the trail, or at the start of the dirt road if there is a spot available. Car pool if you can. We will go out to the point and turn left at the Chapel, returning to our cars. Runners may want to take a longer route if they feel motivated.

We'll see you there!

LOCAL TRIBE (Midcoast) SUNDAY FUN-DAY

SUNDAY FUN-DAY! Woot!

Today's theme returns to PAYING ATTENTION. So in the interests of this, we are going to return to Beech Hill. An easy hike, for sure, but this time we are going to take it slow... I want you to walk at a slower pace than you are used to, and pay attention to how it changes your experience.

When we pass the Birch Trees on the way up the hill, we will return to normal walking pace...but spend the first part of the walk at a slow pace and see what you notice.

When we reach the top, we'll take 10 minutes (or more!) to sit solo. Sit in silence and observe your breath. Notice your thoughts - it's ok if you return to thinking about the To Do list, or the pressures that exist in your life. But let those thoughts pass through you and allow whatever sits beneath (or behind) those thoughts to also surface.

Once the group feels it is ready to rejoin and return down the hill, we will regather, and share as you wish. Walk at whatever pace feels natural back down the hill.

I hope this experience resonates with you throughout your day, and week!

PAYING ATTENTION IS AWESOME!
